More than just an intelligent lock and key
CyberLock is a powerful addition to any business. It not only controls access, but also helps ensure compliance with policies such as Health & Safety and Contractor Control. More importantly, it also saves money, allowing re-engineering of business processes. The first thing you notice is that there is no Keyway, so picking the lock is impossible. It will only open for specifically aithorised Keys, presented on the right days and at the right times. Of course these restrictions can be as tight or as liberal as you need. Should a CyberKey be lost, it will probably have been set to become dormant anyway – but just in case it is needed, these intelliegent locks can disable lost Keys.
In addition, the lock can be set to open when 2, 3 or 4 persons are present, each with the right skills and qualifications (ideal is some highly sensitive applications). It can also collect guard tour activity. With over 400 varieties of CyberLock, a single CyberKey can be set to open just those that are necessary for a person. If you have Contractors visiting a site, a blank Key can be left on site, activated by each Contractor by their own Job Code (and PIN if required) – giving each of them access to just the facilities they need. After their work is completed an audit trail if activity is available – with dates and times of access.
Remote Update
No matter where in the World your CyberLocks are located, access can be remotely controlled. We have a variety of means to update CyberKeys (from Mobile Phones to KeyPad Authorisers) and provide audit trails of recent activity (both permitted and denied access).
